Muhammad Insan Al Fath (Alfie)
Based in Tübingen, Germany.

I am a filmmaker born and raised in Bandung, West Java — a city surrounded by volcanoes, a place rich with texture, contrast, and story. Since 2012, I have been immersed in the world of filmmaking, shaping images and emotions into visual experiences. In 2018, my journey expanded into international productions, where I continue to collaborate across borders and cultures.

I believe that intercultural collaboration pushes creativity beyond its limits. Working with people from different backgrounds challenges perspective, deepens understanding, and transforms obstacles into artistic opportunities. For me, filmmaking is not only about execution — it is about connection.

As a visual storyteller, I am devoted to crafting narratives that resonate on an emotional level. Every project is an exploration of light, shadow, rhythm, and space. I strive to create cohesive stories shaped by intentional lighting, thoughtful composition, and a distinct visual language that serves the soul of the story.

My showreel reflects a diverse body of work — from films and commercials to documentaries — each project driven by curiosity and a passion for cinematic expression. I aim to create images that linger, evoke feeling, and leave a lasting imprint long after the screen fades to black.
